we are happy to announce that we´ve started working on our 4th album. If everything goes as planned we will have a new album this year. In the Gallery section you will find some pictures from our studio session last january.

Á laugardaginn spilum við á NASA kl.22, tónleikarnir eru hluti af tónlistarhátíðinni Réttum. Pússiði skóna því sveiflukóngurinn Nói Steinn er með nýjan ride og Laufin verða í hátíðarskapi….. og ekki skemmir fyrir að Apparat Organ Quartat spila seinna um kvöldið.

Hello people, we are playing at the Reykjavík Roundup festival next saturday. We will go on stage at NASA around 22. Icelandairwaves is also on our schedule next month….. Good times ahead as Nói Steinn “the king of swing” has a new ride cymbal and the Leaves are in a festive mood…

…almost forgot, Andri also has a spanking new Telecaster and claims he will give Arnar a run for his money….. we’ll see….

In our video section there is brand new footage from our gig @ NASA last july. The track is Dragonflies and we will be adding more to that soon. Arnar’s brother Siggi and Bjarni Gríms deserve special thanks for helping us pulling this together.

We are also trying to put together some gigs in England soon so look out for that.

We have added some photos from the gig at NASA to the gallery section. The show was recorded, both audio and video and the footage should be on the site pretty soon…. and hopefully on DVD as well.

Tónleikar á NASA og á Græna Hattinum

Það er komið að tónleikum í tilefni af útgáfu plötunnar. Gleðin verður á NASA við Austurvöll fimmtudaginn 9. júlí. Öllu verður til tjaldað og mun brassleikari t.d. vera okkur til aðstoðar. Miða er hægt að kaupa á www.midi.is og í verslunum Skífunnar og kosta þeir litlar 500 kr.. Við förum svo norður á Akureyri til þess að hita upp með tónleikum á Græna Hattinum 8. júlí.

Gigs

We will be doing a couple of gigs early in July. On wednesday the 8th we will drive up north to Akureyri and play a show at Græni Hatturinn. Then on the 9th we will play a show at NASA to celebrate the new album, that will be a grand show with brass and fireworks…ok, maybe not fireworks but you get the picture. So we urge you guys to travel to Iceland for the shows as it will not get any cheaper than now, courtesy of some fine Icelandic banking!

At last !

Arnar and Nói will be travelling to Cannes tommorrow to play a gig at the film festival with Icelandic act Bang Gang. Soon we will announce some gigs both here in Iceland and abroad. 

We Are Shadows is climbing the charts here in Iceland and we have got some very warm response from you people here as abroad….. many thanks. The album is currently album of the week on Icelands national radio and we are also blessed with a rare heatwave here in Iceland…. so good times in Leaves-world.
